What is grigory gorin?

Grigory Gorin (May 9, 1940 – October 16, 2000) was a Soviet and Russian playwright, screenwriter, and novelist. Born in Moscow, he studied journalism at Moscow State University and later worked for various newspapers and magazines.

Gorin wrote over 20 plays, including "Jewish Happiness", "The Office Romance", and "The Adventures of a Dentist", which became Soviet classics. He also wrote screenplays for many popular Soviet films, such as "The Diamond Arm", "Kidnapping, Caucasian Style", and "The Garage".

Gorin was known for his satirical and comedic writing, often incorporating elements of Soviet life and Jewish culture. He was awarded numerous honors for his work, including the Order of Friendship of Peoples and the Russian Federation State Prize for Literature and Art.
